On Thursday this week, 3-Feb-2011, the Internet officially ran out of IPv4 addresses that can be distributed.  The last Three blocks were distributed that day and there are no more.  It will be interesting to see how long it takes for everyone to start transitioning to IPv6 which has been up for some time but…
