The OS can’t kill a running process, so it tells you to reboot your computer. This seems to have been added to Office 2010, because I haven’t seen it before then. An epic fail!
Just so I can find it again, the dialog has a title of, “Microsoft Office Program Recovery,” and error message of, “We are unable to force Microsoft Access to exit at this time. Restarting your computer might resolve the problem, We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Instead of apologizing, how about fixing it so it works.
