BitTorrent under fire

In the 14 February 2005 issue of Time in an article about Bram Cohen and the technology he invented BitTorrent that is used to speed distribution of data between all the users who are trying to download something from somewhere—including movies—the following appeared: “Neither Cohen nor BitTorrent is named in the lawsuit, although an MPAA spokesman says Cohen is under scruity for continuing to develop the software ‘and making it easy to steal copyright material.'”

Who are they kidding?  Technology doesn’t steal their movies, people who are dishonest and steal their movies are the real problem.

  1. You ought to know by now that people are not responsible for their own actions anymore.  It’s a world of blame unfortunately!
