It was nice to see the movie Crash win the Oscar for Best Picture. We watched it on Saturday before the Oscars and I said to Jill, “Brokeback Mountain had better be much better than this to win the Oscar.”
I’m wondering if the Academy voters didn’t think that it was better to give the vote to a movie that gave so much attention to a multitude of societies ills, not just one.
Now I’ll have the watch all the other movies that we haven’t seen (We had only seen Capote and Crash) and see if I agree with the members.
