About a year ago, when I was purchasing Six Feet Under, I decided to try some of the other series that HBO had released, so I purchased Deadwood. I just finished watching that first season, and was impressed. The language is a little strong, so it’s not for watching when the kiddies are up, but it is an excellent grown-up series.
What really struck me most about the show is that the lead character, played by Timothy Olyphant sounds like and has the same delivery as Clint Eastwood. When Hollywood does the inevitable and remakes Dirty Harry, this guy will be a natural to play Inspector Harry Callahan.
