Microsoft says [Today] Visual FoxPro 9.0 will be its last version of the development software, though support for the product will extend through 2015.
At one time, the xBase languages, dBase, Clipper, and FoxPro ruled the earth, and now they’ll fade away. They were once great client server tools, but the web changed everthing, and the disadvantages of these development tools far outweigh their advantages. RIP xBase we knew ye well.
