All the buzz this week is about Google pulling the plug on Wave. The biggest question that floats around is why. From my perspective, it’s because by not allowing my gmail account to flow into Wave, I had to start an entirely new vector for communicating with people, and that — is a pain in the arse. If Wave had linked to my gmail account, I would have used it.
They did such a nice job on Gmail I was looking for more when they introduced Wave.
