Does it seem strange to anyone other than me that we haven’t had a sitting president that has had male children living in the White House since the Kennedy “Camelot” Presidency? Of course Ron had Ronnie, and George had Dubya, but neither of them actually lived in the White House. Maybe we don’t vote for Presidents that have wild boys, or people don’t run that have young boys because they know that they’ll turn out to be hellions. That never stopped Dubya from running with those two juvenile delinquents that he called daughters, but this could be a really good research topic for some history PhD candidate.
I don’t know why this came to mind on the way home from work yesterday, but they don’t call me Dr. Wingnut for nothing you know.
