How times have changed

Just the other day as I was uploading the new additions from my CD collection into the Amazon Cloud Player I saw a file go by that was 10MB.  The first IBM PC that I worked on when I was at Radisson Mart Plaza Hotel in Miami had a 10MB drive; and that was a lot of DASDI!

Later in the 1980s, a 200MB drive for the IBM Series/1 platform was the size of a standard letter size filing cabinet drawer, and it cost about $35-50,000.00 dollars if my memory serves me correctly.

Once they get memrister up to volume production capacity, I think we could see 1TB of storage on a thumb drive form factor for around $10.00.  Time will tell.

Wow how times have changed
