It is no good to try to stop knowledge from going forward.  Ignorance is never better than knowledge.

To repeat what others have said, requires education; to challenge it, requires brains.

The trouble with most folks isn’t so much their ignorance.  It’s know’n so many things that ain’t so.

When you know a thing, to hold that you know it, and when you do not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it: this is knowledge.
