Musical chairs

Here's a little something I found in the newpaper this morning that I thought would start your week off right (?)…

Stephen Spielberg was discussing his new project, an epic on classical music composers, with Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Steven Segal and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Spielberg strongly desired the box office "oomph" of these superstars, so he was prepared to allow them to select whatever composers they would portray, as long as they were famous.

"Well," said Stallone.  "I've always admired Mozart.  I would love to play him."

Willis said, "Chopin has always been my favorite, and my image would improve if people saw me playing the piano," Willis said.  "I'll play him."

Segal thought for a moment, then added, "I've always been partial to Strauss and his waltzes.  I'd like to play him."

Spielberg was pleased with these choices.  "Sounds splendid," he said.

Then, looking at Schwartzenegger, he asked, "Who do you want to be, Arnold?" So, Arnold said, "I'll be Bach."
