This establishment, Classic Retro @ Pete’s has been on University Avenue for some time, and I keep meaning to take a picture because I really liked the sign. It’s not so much the design, as the message…. They specialize in 20th Century antiques, an oxymoron if ever I heard one; and the initials on the sign indicate that they are purveyors of CR@P. An apropos description of most pop-culture mass-market furniture of that period.
I makes me chuckle every time I head west on University past Cleveland towards Minnespolis.
