I watched a show on the History channel, Monday, 21 January, 2008 that said that the Mayans and others had predicted that today, Friday, 21 December, 2012 would be the day that there was a cosmic alignment that would flip the magnetic pole and start a cataclysm that might wipe out civilization as we know it.
We survived the end-of-days on 31 December 1999; I guess we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
