I got an invitation to the IEEE Computer Society monthly meeting where the presentation topic will be: "Exploiting Incorrectly Speculated Memory Operations in a Concurrent Multithreaded Architecture (Plus a Few Thoughts on Simulation Methodology)".
I’m sure it will be a stimulating topic, but I think that I might as well just put the gun in my mouth because, I have no idea where to even start to understand what the presentation would be about. And, attending would be about as good an option as the former.
Thankfully someone understands these topics though, so I can benefit from what they learn and that that knowledge makes its way into the systems and software that I use and write.
