Last night while we were watching TV, a Reynolds ad for crock-pot liners came on.Talk about a stupid product; just soak the damn thing for thirty-minutes and most everything comes out.  They are ceramic.We’ll just see if they’re still on the market by the end of the year.

We’re having a great snowstorm in the Twin Cities today.  I tried to go to work, but I got four miles in about half-an-hour.  There were semaphores out, packed ice on the road and other general fun.  I turned around and said screw it for today.

For a few weeks, maybe a month, I’ve been intermittently watching Boston Legal.  It’s very funny.  I think that William Shatner has finally found his calling.  He was good as a letch in Star Trek, but he has elevated his performance to new astounding heights in this program.

It was nice to see the movie Crash win the Oscar for Best Picture.  We watched it on Saturday before the Oscars and I said to Jill, “Brokeback Mountain had better be much better than this to win the Oscar.”I’m wondering if the Academy voters didn’t think that it was better to give the vote…
