Mom’s Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 4 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 Head iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 4 Ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 Ounces thousand island dressing
  • 1 Avocado, chopped
  • ½ 15 Ounce can black olives, sliced
  • 1 12 ounce bag Nacho Doritos
  • 1 Pound ground beef
  • 1 15 Ounce can black, pinto, or kidney beans, drained
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 15 Ounce jar chunky salsa

Method

  1. Brown ground beef and onions
  2. Drain the meat mixture, add the beans and salt and cook for ten minutes
  3. Cool the meat mixture
  4. Combine the meat mixture with all the other ingredients and serve
